I experimented with various layouts by creating quick, rough thumbnail sketches. My goal was to ensure that the final comic conveyed a sense of confusion from the beginning, starting with the question, and left the viewer feeling unsettled as the two girls walk out of their scene—still filled with questions and uncertainty.
